  | Monthly MeetingThis month, Monday, March 12 at 7 PM:Plenty of people like sports, and so the voice of TCU sports, Brian Estridge, will be our March speaker. Brian Estridge is returning to TCU for his eighth consecutive year with his entertaining play-by-play as the "Voice of the Horned Frogs". He serves as TCU's director of broadcasting, and he's also provided play-by-play for numerous ESPN Regional Television productions. The Kershaw, S. C. native has been the play-by-play voice of Miami (Ohio) University and Appalachian State University, where he developed the network into one of North Carolina's largest, with over 30 stations carrying Mountaineer football. Prior to his stint at Appalachian, Estridge was sports director at WLCM radio in Lancaster, S. C., and WATA radio in Boone, N. C. His play-by-play was honored in 2002 by the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters as the best collegiate play-by-play in the state. He was one of three nominees in 1996 for North Carolina Sportscaster of the Year. Co-host of the popular "Galloway and Company" show weekdays from 3 PM to 6 PM on 103.3 ESPN, Estridge graduated from Appalachian State University. He lives with his wife, Rebecca Ringer, and his son, Gaines, in Colleyville, Texas.
